Constituting Workshop

We cordially invite you to participate in a one day workshop for establishing the Austrian branch of the FuturICT initiative. The FuturICT is one of six remaining Flagship proposals, two of which are very likely to be funded in a substantial way. This meeting is intended to coordinate the interests of Austrian researchers and their institutions in particular in supporting, positioning and working out a vision for the Austrian engagement in this fascinating initiative. The intention of the workshop is to set up a communication platform for the involved participants and to establish an efficient scheme for representing our positions to funding agencies and political decision makers.
