In this half day workshop the Austrian/Slovenian branch of the FuturICT initiative will discuss updates and developments as well as decide on further strategic steps. The FuturICT is one of six remaining Flagship proposals, two of which are very likely to be funded in a substantial way. This meeting is intended to attain the commitment of Austrian and Slovenian funding agencies and political decision makers in supporting the two countries' engagement in this initiative.
