Hana Krakovska started her PhD at the Section for Science of Complex Systems at the Medical University of Vienna and the Complexity Science Hub Vienna in September 2021 under the supervision of Prof. Rudolf Hanel as part of EvoGamesPlus (Evolutionary Game Theory and Population Dynamics: From Theory to Applications) Innovative Training Network.
She studied mathematics and received her bachelor's degree at the Comenius University in Bratislava and her MSc in mathematics at the Technical University of Munich. Her master's thesis was about the resilience of attractors in dynamical systems, supervised by Prof. Christian Kuehn. After finishing her degree in 2020, she got a position as a research assistant at the Institute of Measurement Science of Slovak Academy of Sciences where she worked on problems of casual link detection in dynamical systems and fractal dimension estimation of time series.
Her research interest includes computational modeling, complex regulatory networks, time series analysis and theory of dynamical systems.
