Sarah Etter is a postdoc at the Section for Science of Complex Systems at the Medical University of Vienna and an associate faculty of the Complexity Science Hub Vienna. She is working with Peter Klimek to explore healthcare multiplex networks. Her special interest is personalized medicine. Currently, she is focusing on developing gender-specific treatment paths.
Sarah obtained a PhD in Theoretical Physics from ETH Zurich, where she was investigating magnetic phenomena in unconventional superconductors under the supervision of Professor Manfred Sigrist. Previously, she studied at ETH Zurich and NUS Singapore.
